Caucasian, Hispanic, Caucasian/Hispanic, Caucasian/African American, African American, African American/Hispanic

Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for considering us in what is one of the most difficult and selfless decisions you are working through. While we have yet to meet, the courage and bravery being displayed as you navigate this process is commendable, and if selected by you, we will ensure it is not in vain. We promise to shower your child with love, confidence, and kindness, creating a safe space for them to thrive and be a part of the good you want to see in this world.

The child we have the honor of raising will join our large extended family, where everyone is ready to welcome and support your baby. We will pass on our love for culture, the arts, cooking, music, healthy living, hard work, and structure while living life freely and authentically. What will be felt instantly is the unconditional love our entire community of family and friends will have for your child.

You have our commitment to ensure your child is very clear about the miracle and blessings you have given us by allowing us to raise them, where your history will be our history and the child will know who they are, where they come from, and how extremely loved they are by you as well as the incredible sacrifice you are making for them.

With love,
Dustin and Quincy

About

About Us

Our story began at a bar, where we bonded instantly over our mutual love of drag shows, cheesy horror movies, and roller coasters. Now, with nearly 15 years of togetherness and seven years of marriage, we still have our weekly drag show viewing nights, and we love watching the “31 Days of Halloween” movie marathons. Over time, we did have to learn to appreciate roller coasters from afar as our nerves no longer seem to handle anti-gravity movement the same way as in our twenties, lol. We are passionate about helping people as Dustin is in healthcare, caring for those with respiratory issues, and Quincy is a Financial Services Manager, helping people gain financial confidence. We have lived in various places up and down the East Coast but feel we have found our forever home in our little cul-de-sac community surrounded by wonderful friends, neighbors, and furbabies.

Home

Our Home

Our home is situated 15 minutes outside of a major East Coast Southern city, which allows us to have easy access to great eateries, safe parks, and diverse cultural events for folks of all ages. Our home is our little retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city as we relax on our deck with a cup of coffee and a book. We also pour love into our land with gardening while our Yorkie, chihuahua, and super friendly cat chase each other while enjoying the sun. We love having family and friends over for long weekends in fellowship and fun, including hosting game nights where the competition is intense yet makes for hilarious stories.

Extended Family Extended Family

Our Extended Family

Dustin was raised on a farm in the Midwest, which has made him incredible at growing things. He has a phenomenal green thumb, which is why we have fresh flowers and plants growing inside and outside, filling the home with clean air and serenity for our souls.

Quincy’s hands are better suited in the kitchen, where he leverages his Afro-Latino roots to make his grandmother’s recipes of traditional Hispanic-influenced Caribbean food while his hips move from side to side to the Spanish music filling the kitchen with rhythmic sounds.

We enjoy the major holidays, and we ensure our home is giving festive vibes during Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas as our nieces and nephews all love spending parts of the holidays with their uncles. Whether people are coming to us or we are going to spend time with them, nothing stops us from being around family regularly and often.

Story

What Led Us To Adoption

After being together for so long, we began to think of what it would be like to be dads…imagining Dustin doing jigsaw puzzles with the child or Quincy building Lego sets with them after helping them finish up homework. We imagined the teenage years and how we would handle tough situations with the kid, and we realized we not only wanted children and those memories (the good and the challenging) but that we were physically, financially, and spiritually ready to do so. We thought about how much love we have for each other and want to share that love with a child. Rest assured, we will wake up daily ensuring that your child has the best life possible full of love, security, and safety.
