Dear Birthmother,

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We hope you are doing well and wish you all the best in life. We want to express our deepest admiration and gratitude for this difficult yet courageous journey you are navigating. This path you have chosen is undoubtedly filled with complexity and emotion, and we want you to know your strength and selflessness do not go unnoticed.

Our family eagerly awaits the day when we can embrace them, as this is what we have been dreaming about for years.

About

About Us

Our personalities are outgoing and friendly, and we’re always looking for ways to make each other laugh and have fun. We met at work and started dating ten years ago, have been married for five years, and have grown into each other’s best friend. Today we are working in strategy and analytics, where we thrive on solving complex problems. Outside of work, our interests and hobbies include traveling to new places, playing and watching sports, staying active through exercise, taking long walks with our beloved dog, and spending quality time with friends and family. Whether we are exploring a new city or cheering on our favorite sports team, we always have a great time doing things together. Despite the challenges that may come our way, we approach each day with positivity and a can-do attitude. Together, we make a great team.

Home

Our Home

We live in a safe town with friendly neighbors and a school district that is one of the best in the area for academic achievements and extracurricular activities. Children on our street often play with one another and go to the same school. There are several local attractions, such as parks and trails, a community recreation center, and great restaurants. Our home is cozy and welcoming, perfect for hosting friends and family. We have a golden retriever we adore. He is great with children and is loved by each child who lives on our street. Overall, our neighborhood is the perfect place to raise a family. There is a strong sense of community and plenty of activities to enjoy.

Extended Family Extended Family

Our Extended Family

Our large extended families are very tight-knit groups who love spending time together. We each have one sibling and many cousins. Our parents are selfless and loving, and we have seen firsthand just how much they love their grandchildren. Since each of our siblings have a one-year-old and our close cousins are starting their families, our extended family gatherings are filled with laughter and love. We look forward to watching the kids grow up together, forming lifelong connections, and creating lasting memories, just as we did.
With each new addition to the family, we uphold the tradition of making wine and family recipes to celebrate the arrival of a new baby. It has become a cherished ritual that symbolizes the bond we share and joy that comes with expanding our family. This wine is not opened until the child’s wedding day, where it is shared with family and friends.

In addition to our family celebrations, we also vacation together whenever possible. Whether it is a beach getaway, mountain retreat, or sporting event, spending this time together strengthens our bond. Our extended family enjoys being together and creating new traditions and memories that will bring us closer.

Story

What Led Us To Adoption

Our journey to adoption began after three years of unsuccessful IVF treatments. Faced with the heartbreaking reality that biological children may not be in our future, we took a leap of faith into the world of adoption and believe this is what we were meant to do. This is our first time adopting, and much of our inspiration was found in our friends, who were adopted themselves. Their stories gave us the strength to continue our journey, knowing that love knows no boundaries of biology. As we eagerly await the day we can welcome a new member into our family, we are grateful for the unique and fulfilling path adoption has led us on.
