RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:
Caucasian
Dear Birthmother,
We can’t imagine what your life has been like, but to carry a child to term and do whatever it takes to ensure that child is given the best opportunity to be loved and cared for is a true act of selflessness, love, and strength. Thank you for the time and effort that goes into making this little bundle of joy. We are truly blessed and thankful for your consideration.
Should you choose us, please know that this little boy or girl will be loved by so many people. They have cousins eagerly waiting to meet them. We look forward to sharing our passion for cooking, gardening, and sports. Our goal is to be encouraging parents, not just by exposing the child to new things but also encouraging them to try things that interest them. We have worked hard the past few years to get where we are now. The only thing missing from our lives is a child to share it with.
We wish you the best, and we pray the Lord continues to help guide you throughout this journey. If you choose us, we look forward to meeting you and getting to know you at any level you’re comfortable with. We are confident that in our home, your child would feel an abundance of love, security, and know they are a blessing to us.
About Us
Hi! We are Justin and Julie. We met in December 2007, have been happily married since October 2013, and currently live in Idaho. Justin is a care giver in a group home for a handful of boys with special needs. His job teaches him new ways to be empathetic and nurturing. Julie is a program manager for a tech company, allowing her the freedom to work from and have a flexible work schedule.
When we're not working, we enjoy life’s simple pleasures, including spending time out in the yard with friends and family, gardening, and playing with our dog. We also enjoy making meals from scratch, especially if the produce is harvested from our garden.
Our Home
We live in a small city with great neighbors, where there is a sense of community. There are quaint local shops for everyday needs, but larger stores and other entertainment are a mere 30 minutes away. We have a big backyard, where we have been adding fruit trees and garden beds. Shortly after purchasing our forever home, we adopted an adult German Shepherd named Kenya. We have quickly bonded and Kenya has made herself our protector. Despite her age, Kenya still knows how to have fun by chasing birds, going out on walks, and running around in the backyard. Kenya can't wait until she has a kid of her own to play with and keep safe.
Our Extended Family
We love outdoor get-togethers; BBQs, croquet tournaments, and leisure activities. Julie’s family is tight-knit, and there is never a shortage of family get-togethers or good food. When we get too busy from work and need a change of pace, we like to go to Julie’s brother’s house to enjoy the country life. Julie’s brother has six kids between the ages of two and eleven, and all of them are eager to have some younger cousins to play with. Food brings the family together, but it’s this family’s deep faith, love, and common interests that keep this family committed to one another.
Justin’s family is filled with automotive and aviation lovers! His parents even live in an airpark, where Justin’s dad has built a small aircraft and restored several classic cars. Their neighbors are friendly and share similar interests and values, always making it a nice home away from home. They are really big on their Christmas traditions: watching movies, opening Christmas stockings, and making caramel corn.
What Led Us To Adoption
Although we haven’t been able to have biological children, we have tried to stay positive, knowing that God has had a plan for us. Over the past few years, we have been working toward the lifestyle we wanted. We not only feel our current location is a better environment to raise a family in but we are also financially, mentally, and emotionally in a good place. The challenges we have overcome to get where we are today have strengthened the bond between us, making us grateful for each other’s support and love. We can’t wait to share all the love we have with that special baby.
