Dear Birthmother,
Dear Expectant Mother,
We truly appreciate the time you took to read our profile. We cannot even begin to imagine how hard of a decision this is for you. However, at times like these, it is so important to trust yourself and know you are making the right decision—no matter what that decision may be. Should you choose us, your baby will be welcomed into a family that will shower them with an immense amount of unconditional love. There will be so many people in their corner helping them to grow to be an amazing individual. As fathers, we will work tirelessly to provide the best life imaginable for your baby.
Our main goal is for your baby to never feel a lack of love, a lack of support, or unsafe. We never want them to feel ashamed of who they are or where they came from. You will always be a part of their story, and we will make sure they always know that. There will be so much adventure, culture, and knowledge in their lives. We want them to understand how big and unique the world truly is through education and travel. We are prepared and ready to fully integrate your child into every aspect of our lives.
About Us
Hi! We’re Joel and Chad! We’ve been together for the past five years and recently got married. We both like to stay pretty busy and don’t sit still for too long. We love to hike, go to the park with our dogs, and travel. Joel is into photography, so we’re always looking for a new place for him to photograph. We’re both avid gym goers, love to spend time with friends, and unwind with an episode of reality TV. While Chad enjoys time in the kitchen and playing board games, Joel enjoys reading poetry and vintage/antique shopping. Chad works downtown in an office doing digital marketing. Joel works mostly from home doing traditional marketing.
Our Home
We live in the cutest, ranch-style home in a Southern city. We have a nice backyard that backs up to woods and many parks nearby where we walk the dogs. Dakota is a five-year-old German shepherd mix we’ve had since she was just a few weeks old. She is full of spunky personality, loves attention, and prefers to spend as much time as she can outdoors. Our other dog, Peppy, is a nearly 15-year-old toy poodle. Peppy was adopted by Joel’s grandparents as a puppy and has stayed a part of the family since their passing over eight years ago. Peppy has old man energy but always gets excited and playful when kids are around.
Our Extended Family
Both of our families live relatively close to each other in the Northeast. Chad has a brother and sister; his sister and brother-in-law are currently expecting their first child, making it a great time for us to adopt to have cousins in a similar age range. Chad’s mom has 15 brothers and sisters. There is a family reunion every three years, and everyone travels across the country back to the hometown where they all grew up, a true testament to how important family is to them.
Joel comes from a smaller family. He is extremely close to his parents and his brother. We try to go no longer than two months without seeing them. We host Thanksgiving at our house with them each year. We also do an annual vacation somewhere new every year. Joel’s extended family consists of a handful of aunts and uncles and a couple cousins; they always get together at the end of the year to celebrate in an annual celebration that we cannot wait to have our child be a part of. The holidays are a very special time of year for our families.
What Led Us To Adoption
Starting a family has been a topic of conversation for the two of us for many years. At the beginning stages of our relationship, we expressed to each other the desire to have a family of our own one day. Over the past five years, many of our close friends have started families. As we watched them parent and our own bonds started forming with their children, the idea of starting a family of our own got stronger and stronger. We have decided to go down the path of adoption because there are so many children out there that need a loving and nurturing home—a home we are eager to provide for our future child.
