RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

Dear Birthmother,

Dear Expectant Mother,

We can’t express what it means to us that you are even reading this. We know life is not easy, and we are incredibly humbled by your decision to create an adoption plan. You are amazing and strong.

We were not able to have children on our own. We adopted our son, Cameron (Cam), in 2022. After a long journey, it was one of the happiest days of our lives. We grew up in big families, and we have always wanted our own. Adoption has been an extraordinary journey, and we would be over the moon to bring another amazing child into our lives. We dream of cuddling up for bedtime stories, cozy campfires with smores, and building sand castles as a family. If you choose us, we promise your baby will be our whole world. We will provide a child everything they need, take them on adventures, and inspire them to dream. Our home is a safe place where your child would feel love, support, and encouragement throughout their life.

Thank you for your consideration and for taking the time to learn about us. We do not know what you are going through, but we care.

With love and admiration,
Jess & Ryan

About

About Us

More than ten years ago, we both took jobs working at the same ski resort. We loved the mountains, but we worked in different departments. For nearly a year, we kept saying, “We should go for a hike after work sometime.” Well, one day it finally happened, and we got married in those same mountains in 2018. Jess works in marketing and builds websites. She studied digital art and design and enjoys creative projects. When time allows, Jess loves gardening and taking Summit, our dog, for long walks in the woods. Ryan works in sales for a company and sells construction equipment. Ryan loves the outdoors and going on adventures. Fishing and hiking are his favorite activities.

Home

Our Home

We live close to a few larger cities, but our home is in a small New England town. We own a three-bedroom house in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood. There is access to great schools and many neighborhood kids who like to play. It’s the kind of community where even the dogs get together for playdates and you can always borrow something from your neighbor. We have a big swing set, many toys, and everything a baby would need to come home.

We have a dog named Summit. He’s an eight-year old black Lab mix who loves to go on adventures. He even goes kayaking with us! He’s great with our son, niece, and nephews and will be a best bud to our future kids.

Extended Family Extended Family

Our Extended Family

We both come from large and stable families. We are all very close and spend our holidays and vacations together. Our families get together collectively for some birthdays and other celebrations. Any baby in our family has cousins, grandparents, great-grandparents, and many aunts and uncles to embrace them.

Jess’s parents live an hour from our home on a beautiful lake. They have been married for 45+ years. She has two sisters and brothers-in-law and two playful nephews. Our favorite summer days are spent boating, barbecuing and splashing off the dock.

Ryan’s parents were high school sweethearts and have been married nearly 40 years. They live close to us and are both one of five children, so there are many aunts, uncles, and cousins locally as well as three grandparents. We get together for family dinners and to enjoy their backyard pool. Ryan’s brother and his wife have two kids, both under three. Ryan’s sister and her husband will likely have children in the next few years, so there will be plenty of young cousins to play with.

Our parents can’t wait to have another grandchild. We have their complete support. They can’t wait to meet and welcome your child into our family and lives (and we know they will spoil them a bit too).

Story

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always wanted to be parents and to grow our very own family. After many years of trying to conceive and undergoing fertility treatments, it was determined that we could not have our own biological children. We adopted our son in 2022, and it was one of the happiest days of our lives. Our long journey to a family now feels worthwhile, and we cannot wait to have another child to share celebrations, splash time at the water table, and trips to the aquarium. Our hearts, home, and arms are open and full of love. There will be so much joy and laughter in our lives because of this decision.
