You are giving a part of your heart to a family to help fill a part that has been missing. We are excited and ready to share our life and our family with a child we know is meant to be ours.
As you consider adoption, and as you consider us and others as the adoptive parents of the child you are carrying, know that we have dreamed of becoming parents. We have dreamed of adopting, and we are overjoyed with the possibility of loving your baby. We know this journey comes with a lot of unknowns, but we can tell you that if you choose us, you can be comforted knowing we will provide a safe environment for your child to grow and be loved. They will be loved by us, all of our family, and our friends, and they will know your love as well. About Us
Hi! It is so nice to meet you. We are Dylan and Jennifer. We have been married for two years, and life has been filled with love and joy through the highs and the lows. We have been friends for over 15 years, and after our journeys of finishing college and moving a few times, we began dating. Just six months later, we were engaged and planning our wedding. We often say how we wish we would have made it official sooner, but we know we have the strong connection we do because of our long friendship. Jenn has a master’s degree in early childhood special education and loves being a teacher of students with different abilities. Dylan works for an insurance company and enjoys his job and the company he works for. We enjoy traveling, fishing, hiking, live theater, movie nights, and simply spending time with each other, our friends, and our family.
Our Home
We live in a beautiful Minnesota neighborhood. We love the changing seasons and the beauty that surrounds us. We have a variety of wonderful neighbors: retired couples, families with kids, and everything in between. We are close to a variety of parks, schools, and our families. We are only about an hour drive from family fun places such as zoos and theme parks. We have two dogs, Zoei and Bindi; they love to snuggle, play, and go on adventures with us. Our cat, Willow, loves to live her life in her cat tower or snuggling with the humans when the dogs are not around.
Our Extended Family
Jenn has a big family full of love and laughter. She has several siblings, and they are all very close and love to spend time together. Dylan’s family is a bit smaller as he is an only child; however, they are still a fun group of people and love each other so very much. We love to travel to visit family that is farther away, and we enjoy our big family reunions, holiday gatherings, and vacations.
When we are together as a family, we enjoy playing games, volunteering, fishing, catching up on what's going on in each other’s lives, and just enjoying our time together. We have a large family history of adoption. Jenn’s grandfather was adopted, Dylan’s uncles were adopted, and we have several cousins and extended family who have come from both domestic and international adoption.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always known adoption would be a part of our future. After trying to naturally get pregnant for a year and finding out that may be a difficult path for us, we knew it was time to start the adoption process to grow our family. We are so excited to be on this journey with you. Although this will be our first adoption journey, we hope it will not be our last. We would love to have children who grow up together and create the bond that only siblings can have.
