Dear Birthmother,
We would like to begin by honoring you for being such a strong angel mom and the woman you are. It takes such strength and courage to consider adoption, and for that, you are more than a conqueror. You are an absolute blessing! It starts with you, and you matter. We understand that considering adoption is not easy, but it shows how selfless and caring you are for making the best decision for you and this amazing blessing to come.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to consider us as your child’s potential adoptive family. We would love to be a part of your story. We can reassure you that your beautiful baby will be very well taken care of in all aspects of life. We have a host of family and friends waiting with open arms. The baby will be loved unconditionally. We will be here for you throughout this process. We hope you can feel a sense of peace as you read about us. While you take this time to embrace our sincere words, we are deeply grateful for you.
We hope to speak with you soon.
Jazmone and Kareem
About Us
Hi! We are Kareem and Jazmone, and we’ve been married for 11 years. We are opposites when it comes to personality; Kareem is more reserved, while Jazmone is outgoing and adventurous. We both lead with positive mindsets. Kareem has a bachelor’s in business administration and is a business owner and investor. In his free time, he loves grilling, exercising, watching sports, writing goals, and music. Jazmone has a bachelor’s in nursing and is an executive nurse and business owner. She puts a lot of time into the kids, which she enjoys. In her free time, she loves all things self-care, art, dancing, singing, and exercising. As a family, we enjoy cooking and baking. Our three boys are two graduations away from black belts in Taekwondo and on the swim team. We homeschool, and they have many friends inside and outside of their homeschool group. We are a family that loves to travel, celebrate, help others, and make memories.
Our Home
We live in a two-story home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a finished basement. We’re located in the suburbs in a family-friendly neighborhood. We have a movie theater, a play room, a game area, and areas in the house where the kids play. The backyard is fenced in, with an inground swimming pool with a safety cover, a basketball court area, and a gazebo with a built-in fire pit for roasting smores! We have a deck with comfortable seating, and we enjoy family cookouts and relaxing. Our home is near parks and schools. We’re about seven minutes from the mall and all major restaurants and 20 minutes from the zoo and children’s museums.
Our Extended Family
Kareem has two sisters and four brothers; between them, they have three boys and one girl ages one to 17. Kareem’s mother loves children. She is very creative and knows how to keep the kids busy by playing I spy with my little eyes, finding words, or playing games. Kareem’s father loves to share stories and laugh and enjoys organizing the family events. Kareem has many aunts, uncles, and cousins who all have children between the age of two and 20. He has a big family that shows up in support of anything that’s going on.
Jazmone has two sisters and four brothers; between them, they have five boys and five girls ages 10 to 19. Her mother is deceased, but she has a good relationship with her father. He is very funny and loves to see his grandchildren. She has close aunts and uncles, a ton of cousins, and lots of friends. Our families know each other from aunt and uncles growing up together. We have holiday gatherings and family vacations.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always wanted to grow our family through adoption. Adoption was laid on our hearts when we were in college, not knowing if we would have biological children or not. The feeling of adoption only grew stronger over the years. Our lives are set up where we have the time to be home, and we can provide stability and support. Our children are so excited to have another sibling. Our hearts are open to love another child unconditionally and to give them a beautiful life and opportunities.
