Dear Birthmother,

We do not always understand why God allows certain things to happen in our lives, and we know this moment for you is not an easy one to go through. We cannot express the gratitude we have for you to even consider us to be a part of this chapter in your life. The difficult decisions you have to make for you and your baby, and the weight of the emotions that go along with it…we cannot even begin to know what that feels like. We truly are in awe of you, your strength, and the courage it takes for you to make the best decision for you and your baby.

Should you choose us, we can promise you we will love your baby unconditionally and wholeheartedly and will provide a safe and loving home for them to grow up in. They will be surrounded by so much love from us and our extended family. Your baby will grow up playing with their cousins, enjoying time with their grandparents, and participating in different sports. They will learn how important their faith in God is and that you can achieve anything if you work hard for it. No matter what, they will always be supported and loved.

We would be honored to be chosen to become your baby’s parents and would be eternally grateful for the sacrifices you made for your child. We pray you feel peace and comfort in knowing you are making the right decision for you and your baby.

About

About Us

We are Turner and Emma from Nebraska. Our love for each other started in our senior year of high school. We dated for six years before we married in October 2008. We both are in education and love working with children. Turner is an activities director and physical education teacher. Sports has been a huge part of Turner’s life; he has always had a passion for basketball, which led him to play in college and professionally overseas for a year. Emma is a middle school health and fitness teacher. Fitness is a huge part of Emma’s life; she loves being active and sharing her love for fitness with others. Together, we both enjoy spending time outside, fishing, biking, golfing, running, gardening, and traveling to different states to hike the highest peaks. Most of all, we love spending quality time with family and friends.

Home

Our Home

We live in a nice town that some would call a small city. Our town is constantly growing, and the benefits to this are the new restaurants opening, a new library, many family-owned businesses opening, and many new indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities, which we love. We are located in a nice neighborhood close to churches, schools, and parks. We live in a split-level home. Four years ago we remodeled the upstairs to have a beautiful open concept. We really have made it our own. We have a fenced-in backyard with a huge gazebo and a patio just off the attached garage. We have a husky named Dakota and a cat named Howie.

Extended Family Extended Family

Our Extended Family

We are both fortunate to have such wonderful families, most of whom live ten minutes or less away from us. We both are very close with our families and spend a lot of time with them. Turner has a sister and brother, and Emma has three sisters.

Turner’s family is very sports oriented. We enjoy spending time together on the golf course, going for family walks, shooting hoops in the driveway, or playing cards at the dining room table. We have five nieces and nephews on Turner’s side of the family. They are all in sports, so we attend many games to cheer them on. Celebrating the good and supporting them in the tough moments is part of the job of being an uncle and aunt, and we love it.

Emma’s family is huge. With her father having eight brothers and sisters and her mother having three brothers, there are lots of cousins on both sides! We have twelve nieces and nephews on Emma’s side of the family. Holidays are our favorite time to get together and celebrate, and when we all get together, it is a full house! We can’t wait to add our own bundle of joy to the family!

Story

What Led Us To Adoption

In the beginning of our marriage we found out we wouldn’t be able to have biological children. Our hearts were broken, but the desire to become parents was still very much there. We trusted God would guide our decisions as to how we would become parents, and after a long time of waiting and praying, God has led us to the path of adoption. We believe everything happens for a reason, and even though the road to this point has been long, it has not been wasted. Our love for each other has only strengthened, and we can’t wait to share that love with a little one.
