Dear Birthmother,
Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot even begin to express how grateful and humbled we are to even be considered in this process. We don’t know what it’s like to walk in your shoes nor the emotions you may be feeling, but we want you to know your love for your child can never be questioned. You are strong, courageous, and selfless, and we admire you so much.
Should you choose us, your baby would be surrounded by love and support. Connor is so excited to be a big brother and to teach them everything he knows, especially about cars and trains. They will be welcomed with open arms and have many cousins and friends to grow up with and play together. Your child will be provided every opportunity to succeed and fulfill their dreams. We will teach them to be open-minded, and we will show them the world. We will encourage their uniqueness and bolster their self-worth and self-confidence. We will give them the tools to face challenging times, and we will walk alongside them through it all.
We would be honored, excited, and forever grateful should you choose us for your baby. Every day of their lives and every milestone will be reinforced by the fact that we are able to love them because you loved them first.
With love,
Caroline, Jason, and Connor
About Us
Hi! We are Caroline and Jason, and our story began 18 years ago when Jason’s cousin, who is also Caroline’s dear college friend, introduced us on the dance floor at her wedding! Since then, we have traveled the world, completed graduate school, and built a beautiful life together. We have been married for 14 years and have an adorable four-year-old son, Connor. Jason is a finance consultant, and Caroline is a pediatric physical therapist and nonprofit executive director. Jason is super smart and witty, and he previously flew fighter jets in the Marine Corps. Caroline loves deeply, works hard, never meets a stranger, and is always ready to celebrate. Connor loves music, dancing, building marble mazes and ball runs, animals, cars and construction vehicles, and reading. We love to hike, travel, go to the zoo and playgrounds, and fill our home with laughter and good food with family and friends.
Our Home
About seven years ago, we moved back to Caroline’s hometown and are surrounded by family and friends. Our kitties, Brooklyn and Hudson, love to play and snuggle, especially with Connor. We own our five-bedroom, 3½-bath home in a family-friendly community with one of the best school systems in the state. We live on a safe cul-de-sac and spend evenings with neighbors riding bikes, playing ball, or climbing on our backyard playset. We renovated our home last year to create an open-concept kitchen and family room connected to a large, screened-in porch. We live ten minutes from downtown, which offers important cultural and historical exhibits, delicious food, and great sporting events. We regularly explore the playgrounds and hiking trails around the corner from our home.
Our Extended Family
Caroline’s parents, brother, and extended family live within a few miles and always jump at an invitation to come over. Christmas traditions and celebrating birthdays are very important. Caroline’s brother is a great chef and Caroline loves to learn from him, so they make delicious celebratory meals together for family events. Their specialty is beef tenderloin, salmon, green beans, spinach casserole, biscuits, and extreme chocolate cake. The seven cousins love to play basketball and soccer, play with trains and cars, ride scooters, and build puzzles and Magna-Tiles at our house or their grandparents’ house on a regular basis.
Jason’s family lives a little farther away, but we are very close to them. We have a weekly family video chat, and they visit regularly. In the summer, we rent a beach house so all 11 cousins, aged 6 months to 14 years, can be together to swim, play putt-putt, look for shells, watch fireworks, and enjoy ice cream. At Thanksgiving, we stay on a farm, and the kids love to hike, feed carrots to the horses, and play together nonstop.
Our families are thrilled that we have a heart for adopting and are overjoyed to welcome a new baby. We can’t wait to share these traditions.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted to adopt and have watched many friends experience the blessing of adoption. We have spent years building the lifestyle we have always hoped for and that can provide a wonderful homelife. We are in a very stable place financially and emotionally and would love to grow our family. After experiencing two stillbirths, we are unable to have more biological children. Connor would be an incredible big brother and loves caring for and playing with his baby cousins and friends. We have an incredible support system and would be blessed by more children. We are so grateful for the life we have, and we can’t wait to share our love with a little one.
