Andrew & Arianna
RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:
Any
Dear Birthmother,
First and foremost, we are honored you are taking the time to get to know us. We cannot imagine what immense strength it has taken to get here. Though we haven’t met yet, we already share a deep connection with you, one built on immense respect and gratitude for the courageous step you’re taking. Andrew was adopted, so adoption holds a very special place in our hearts. We understand firsthand the incredible value of this choice, and we want you to know your bravery and love are things we will never take for granted.
We are so excited to become parents, and should you choose us, your child will be surrounded by people who will endlessly support and encourage them, laugh and cry with them, and help them learn and grow. They will have a life enriched with travel, music, creativity, laughter (and a little sarcasm), and love. We hope we can participate in giving your child a loving and active life that helps keep you at peace with your decision. It is our goal to make sure your child knows how much they are loved and to help guide them in life’s journey.
Thank you so much for considering us. We will be thrilled and have endless gratitude should you decide we are who you will entrust with your child. We wish you the best and promise to respect the decisions you make in this process.
About Us
We are Andrew and Arianna! We have been together since 2015, and we got married in 2018 on a beach in Carmel, California. We both fell in love with each other's sense of humor, so comedy is a daily occurrence in our house. We migrated from California to the Midwest in early 2023 to a developing neighborhood with growing families. Andrew works from home and has an extremely flexible schedule, and Arianna works in banking. In our free time, we love movie and game nights, traveling and discovering new places, firing up the barbeque, or spending time with our extended family. We love to be goofy and have a good time; game nights are one of our favorite things and usually end up with roaring laughter.
Our Home
We relocated to Iowa in 2023 to start a new chapter in our lives. We chose an area that is located on the outskirts of a city so we get the benefits of a small-town feel while having access to all the things a city offers. We live in a small, newly developed neighborhood with lots of younger growing families. Our house is a ranch-style, four-bedroom, three-bath home with a huge finished basement with room for all sorts of activities. We have a large backyard and a garden with great views for all four seasons. We have two of the cuddliest dogs and a lazy cat that loves a good cuddle and can give the dogs a run for their money.
Our Extended Family
Most of our family lives in California, so while we may not get to see them as often as we like, visits happen several times a year. (Either we go there or some of them come to see us.) Arianna’s older sister lives in a neighboring city along with Arianna’s three nephews. We love to cheer the two oldest on during baseball season. We spend time with Arianna’s sister and her family on a weekly basis.
We also believe family doesn’t necessarily come from biology, so we have a great group of dear friends and neighbors whom we consider our extended family. We frequently host get-togethers for game and movie nights and even share holidays together.
One of our favorite traditions is decorating the house for Christmas. We have holiday lights all over the outside and inside of our house and multiple Christmas trees, and it grows a little every year. We also love watching and setting off fireworks every Fourth of July.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted to adopt, and biology paved the way. We had discussions about adoption early on in our relationship, so we have known since the beginning that adoption was where we were heading in our family planning. Andrew and his three siblings were all adopted at birth, so he holds a deep understanding of the selflessness, dedication, and openness it takes. We have so much love to give, so adoption felt like a natural decision for us. We have opened our hearts and home to many children in our lives (nephews, foster children, children of friends and neighbors), and we are excited for the opportunity to be able to grow our family through adoption.
