Dear Birthmother,
Dear Expectant Mother,
Deciding to make an adoption plan for your baby is a difficult decision, and we cannot even imagine the mixture of emotions you are feeling. There are no words to describe how much we admire your courage and your strength to go through this process. Should you choose us, please know your child will be loved beyond measure. We will be incredibly honored to be part of your child’s life and grateful to you for such a privilege. We have long desired to become parents, and we see the Universe’s great plans in bringing us to adoption as the way to grow our family.
We assure you we will back your child in their endeavors wholeheartedly. They will grow up knowing our support is unconditional, and they will feel motivated and encouraged. We will give them all the opportunities to pursue their passions and interests and to have an excellent education.
We will protect and guide them. We are truly committed to providing your child with a happy, inspiring, and multicultural/multilingual environment. They will also be embraced by our wonderful extended family and close friends, who will support us in this journey.
Thank you for offering your time to get to know us and possibly trusting us with your baby’s future.
Sincerely,
Allie & Mark
About Us
Although we grew up in neighboring cities, it was only through pure serendipity that we met each other far away from home when pursuing our careers. We both hold Ph.D. degrees; Allie is a scientist and Mark is an engineer. We have the opportunity to work flexibly and maintain a good balance between professional and personal lives. We really enjoy living in the city outskirts, where we can go for long walks in the parks, but also visit the numerous museums, and attend festivals and events. We relish traveling around the world, especially to exotic places. We also love preparing nice meals together and eating them at home with the blessing of Tina, the cat we adopted that constantly brightens our lives. Spending quality time with close friends and family is essential to our happiness.
Our Home
We live close to a vibrant city with lots of parks, events, concerts, festivals, important schools, and professional opportunities. While we can enjoy the countless options offered by the vicinity of the city, we can also treat ourselves to exploring the hiking trails in our area. Our family-friendly neighborhood is surrounded by lush green spaces, thus syncing perfectly with nature.
We share our house with a sweet stray kitty rescued by a shelter. Tina adopted us: when we walked into the shelter, she came to us looking for a home. We have loved pets since we were kids, and we grew up playing with wonderful dogs, cats, and horses. We also shared a portion of our lives with a lovely and chatty black mynah bird, a shy turtle, and a fluffy hamster.
Our Extended Family
We have a large extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, seven siblings and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Even though we are a very close-knit family, we all pursued very different interests spanning from Science, Medicine all the way to Economics, Laws and Arts. The bond between us is strong and, even though far apart sometimes, we spend a lot of time talking to each other. We know that we can always count on each other.
We usually gather all together at our parents’ house and we engage in activities that involve every member of the family. Cooking and playing games are among those activities. Christmas Eve is probably one of the best nights of the year: we feel the true happiness and magic of being reunited as a Family. We also enjoy celebrating Easter, Birthdays, “Un-birthdays” and any other important day. During these occasions we really lose track of time and recharge our batteries.
We do love celebrating life, achievements, and simple things. Faith and family are the foundation of our lives.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are blessed to be surrounded by a large, cheerful, and caring family, and we have always dreamed of sharing this abundance of love with another beautiful soul. Since we cannot have biological children, we started our adoption journey. We have made a conscious decision when undertaking this adoption path as we come from a blended family with adopted children and babies from previous marriages. We know labels have no place in a family founded on love.
