Dear Birthmother,
We cannot begin to thank you enough for the opportunity you are providing to a family that is looking forward to bringing home a baby to love forever. Having adopted before, we know how difficult this decision must be for you to make and want you to know that if we should be who you choose to adopt your baby, they will be coming to a home and family that has so much love and happiness to offer. Your baby will be supported and encouraged throughout every aspect of their life and celebrated for being exactly who they are.
We are so grateful adoption is the path we have been led down again, and with your strength to take this journey with us, we can be parents to another miracle. Your baby will be a piece of our family we have been wishing for. All of our family has been very supportive in this process, and they are also so thankful for you and your courage.
We look forward to watching this child learn and grow while spending time with their big brother, friends, and family celebrating holidays and family traditions, visiting parks and zoos, playing games, reading books, and living life to the fullest. We also look forward to Ryan growing up with a sibling who shares the bond of having been adopted into our family. We appreciate you taking the time to get to know us, and we sincerely hope we get the chance to know you and your baby!
About Us
Our names are Angie and Adam. We have been married for ten of the happiest years of our lives. Adam works in IT and loves anything to do with technology. Angie has always put others before herself and therefore enjoys her career in healthcare. We are an active and fun-loving couple who enjoy being outdoors, going on vacations to enjoy the local cultures, or just having a low-key night at home. Adam’s favorite hobbies include working out in the Ninja gym, woodworking, bowling, and golf. Angie enjoys cooking, doing art projects, and gardening. One of our favorite traditions is going on family vacations each year to explore the local activities, culture, and beauty. Two years ago we adopted a baby boy, which changed our lives forever in every wonderful way! We love to expose him to as many new experiences as we can, and we cannot wait to add to our family!
Our Home
We bought our home about five years ago in a neighborhood that is full of families and fun, with neighbors always out and about. We fell in love with the neighborhood and were lucky enough to build our house right next to neighbors who have become great friends and have children around Ryan’s age that he loves to play with. There’s a block party every year that is hosted by the neighborhood with bounce houses, food, face painting, and live music, which is so much fun for everyone!
Our home has four bedrooms, an open floor plan, and a finished basement with a large playroom. There are two playgrounds within walking distance, one of which is at the elementary school our children will attend. We share our home with 3 very friendly, declawed, indoor cats.
Our Extended Family
We spend a lot of time with our extended family. Angie’s parents live close by, and her two older sisters and brothers-in-law, who each have a daughter and son, live within an hour of us. We spend holidays with each other, go on family vacations, and attend events such as festivals, picnics, and family reunions together. All of the cousins love to play together and get very excited to see one another.
Adam’s mother and younger brother live about two hours away. Adam’s brother takes care of his three-year-old nephew often, whom Ryan enjoys seeing and playing with. We love to visit Adam’s family whenever we have the opportunity, and they come spend weekends at our house sometimes. We get together for holidays or to go places like the aquarium, zoo, or local market.
Ryan loves talking about his family and frequently asks about them, especially after having spent a lot of time with them. Angie’s mom, Grammie, loves to spend as much time with all of the grandkids as possible, and she watches Ryan at least one day a week just to spend time with him. When we shared our intention to adopt a second baby, they could not have been happier to add to our family!
What Led Us To Adoption
After we got married, we tried for years to conceive a baby, but we have never been blessed with a pregnancy. We adopted our beautiful baby boy, Ryan, about two years ago and have been so grateful since then. We both knew from a young age that we wanted to be parents, but the love we have for Ryan far outweighs anything we could have ever imagined! We want to add to our family and adopt a sibling for Ryan to be able to grow up with and a baby we can share our overwhelming love with again.
