RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

African American

Dear Birthmother,

Dear Expectant Mother,

First, we want to start by saying you possess so much strength for making this decision. We cannot begin to imagine the circumstances that have led you to this place, but we know this is a difficult decision and believe you will do what is in the best interests of you and your precious baby. Please know God brings beautiful situations out of confusing and hard times.

Secondly, thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We are deeply humbled. If you decide to choose us, we promise to love and cherish your child with all our hearts. We promise to keep your child safe and happy, offering them as many opportunities as possible. We both wanted to be parents for so long. We believe all children are a gift, and you would be giving us the greatest gift by adding to our family. We know we would be a good fit for your child.

Lastly, we thank you for your selflessness and courageousness in considering us to be your child's adoptive parents. Know that we will be praying for you and your little one throughout your pregnancy. We hope God will fill you with peace in whatever decision you make.

Love,
Shannon and Troy

Home

Our Home

We live in a cozy five-bedroom, three-bathroom home nestled in a friendly, quiet neighborhood in Georgia. Our community is vibrant and welcoming, with beautiful parks, excellent schools, and plenty of local attractions to explore on the weekends. We are fortunate to have wonderful neighbors who share our values of community and support. Our home is filled with warmth and love. We have two older kids and two playful dogs: Bailey, who is as energetic as the day we first brought him home, and Comet, who resembles an ’80s rockstar. They both bring joy and laughter to our lives every day. They are great with our children and love making new friends. We believe our home and its loving environment will provide a perfect place for a child to grow, learn, and thrive.

Extended Family Extended Family

Our Extended Family

Shannon was born in Philadelphia and comes from a larger family. She has three sisters from her mother and four sisters from her father. She has over ten nieces and nephews. Troy was born in New York and is of Jamaican descent. He comes from a smaller family; he is his mother’s only child. He has three children from a previous relationship.

We relocated from New York and Philadelphia several years ago. We are lucky enough to live close to Shannon’s twin sister, her fiancé, and their two children as well as Troy’s mother and grandmother.

Family and friends are a big deal to us. We enjoy entertaining our family and friends. Since buying our home, we have hosted Christmas pajama parties, birthday celebrations, many impromptu gatherings, and game nights. We often stay in touch with our out-of-state family with family Zoom meetings and yearly visits. We are lucky to have the support of our friends and family as we expand our family.
