Dear Birthmother,
Dear Expectant Mom/Parents,
This must be a confusing and difficult time for you, trying to decide the best options for you and your child. We hope you are being supported in all ways possible, and we admire you for choosing adoption as a possible option.
If you do choose to go down the path of adoption, we would like for you to know we promise to respect your decisions that come with it with regard to openness and contact. We promise we will love, adore, and cherish your child, and we will provide a safe, healthy, happy home and ensure every opportunity within our reach is made available. Our love will be unconditional, and we will raise them with values that will stand them in good stead. We will lead by example with kindness, openness, and respect and ensure their success in life.
We promise they will know how incredibly brave and strong you are, so they can appreciate the sacrifice you made for them. Their origin story will never be erased, and they will always know everything came from love.
Our Home
We live in Massachusetts, a state that is known for its natural beauty in all seasons, and its rich history. Some of the best schools and colleges in America are here. Our town has a good school system and even has incredible charter schools that are known throughout the nation for advanced studies. It’s a wonderful place to raise a family and we love living here.
Our fur baby loves the hiking trails and is the perfect companion to take. When we had our foster baby with us, he was a sweet, loving, and patient big brother.
Our Extended Family
We each have an older brother, and they both have children. Sadly, Nitish’s father passed away last year, but his mother and Shruthi’s parents are alive and well. Shruthi’s brother and family live close to us, and we see them often. We celebrate holidays together, and alternate hosting them. We have aunts and uncles in the state, around the country, and all over the world. We are closer to Shruthi’s brother’s family, simply due to proximity, and have been a part of their and their children’s lives. Our oldest nephew was named by Shruthi.
We still celebrate multiple festivals of different religions throughout the year because although both of us were raised in predominantly Hindu households, Shruthi’s mother is a Christian, and we have always grown up with friends from all religions. We keep in touch with our extended families through Whatsapp, emails, and texts. Some of our families have family get-togethers every two years for everyone to attend. We talk to our parents several times a week and FaceTime with them. When we had our foster baby with us, our parents would FaceTime with us every day during breakfast so that they could talk to him. They can’t wait to add another baby to our family.
