RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

Any

Dear Birthmother,

We think you are incredibly brave and strong, and we don’t even know you yet. Bringing your child into this world is an offering of love. We are honored, grateful, and humbled to even be considered to come along on this journey with you. Thank you for considering giving us this gift. We hope we can give a gift right back by giving your child a home full of unconditional love.

Our biggest hope and prayer is that your baby will feel completely authentic to themselves and grow up in a space that feels safe to be exactly who God created them to be. We don’t take this lightly. Should you choose us, we will take your baby on trips and show them just how big this world really is. We will set an example of open mindness and celebrate differences. We will give them the tools they will need when facing a difficult time and walk right beside them through it all.

We will share our love of music, family, and community. We will raise them in a home where they will be aware of God and our love for and acknowledgement of a higher power. They will learn how to cook with Ashlee and play guitar with Molly. They will have three dogs that will protect them and be loyal to them. They will absolutely feel love in our home, they will feel safe in our home, and they will be adored by us all.

Home

Our Home

We love our three-bedroom, three-bath mid-century modern home with a lot of history. It is located in one of the best parts of town. It’s walkable to restaurants and coffee shops and five minutes from Ashlee’s store. Our favorite area is the porch—all three of them. We love entertaining, and our dogs love running in and out of our house. We have musical instruments all around. We also love our living room as it is open with a ton of windows to let in the light. Honestly, there isn’t a space in our home we don’t love and use. We are a two-minute walk to a park and playground, and our school system is the best in the state.

Our Extended Family

We are both incredibly close to our families. Ashlee’s family has a Fourth of July tradition where we enter our boats in a parade on the lake. Every year we decorate the boat and float on the water as a family. We also go to the beach together every summer.

Molly’s family loves Christmas and goes all out for the holidays. On Christmas morning, since Molly and her sister were toddlers, they would slide down the stairs and see what Santa had brought. They have continued this tradition with our niece.

We also host a Turkey bowl at Thanksgiving. This is a touch football game in the backyard after our meal, which is probably not the smartest choice considering how much we’ve eaten. Our families are so excited for us to adopt. They cannot wait to pass these traditions on.
