RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, Caucasian/Hispanic, Caucasian/Asian, Caucasian/African American, African American, African American/Hispanic

Dear Birthmother,

First of all, we love you already, not only because you’re considering allowing us to raise your child but because we are, by nature, people who love everyone. We’re Christians. We have so much love to give, not only to your baby but also to you, and we will give you however much or little space you need. We know you’re facing a difficult situation, and we admire your strength and courage.

One thing we have to offer your baby is a stable, happy home with two parents who are madly in love with one another. We will make this child a priority and make sure all his or her physical, spiritual, and emotional needs are met, and we will incorporate love, laughter, and music into every day of your child’s life. If he or she decides to do sports or ballet or any other activity, we will be there for every game and performance. Our extended family will cherish the child as well, and I have no doubt both of our mothers will want to babysit on every occasion!

In addition, our sweet boys, Troy and Roman, will love and protect this child. We have no doubt they will have so much fun playing with and growing up alongside him or her.

Just know that we appreciate your consideration and would love to get to know you. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.

Love,
Linda and Jackson

About

About Us

We have been married for over 10 years, and we love each other more every day! We both work at Linda’s family’s business (a chain of local funeral homes- Linda in accounting and Jackson as a director). We have two beautiful boys, Troy and Roman- the lights of our lives! They are 4 and 2 years old, respectively, and have completely different personalities- Troy is more artistic, and Roman is our little athlete, but both are incredibly sweet. We love taking our boys to parks, fun church events, and any kid-friendly show that comes to our city! On our date nights without the kids, we like to see movies or go to sporting events.

Home

Our Home

We recently moved into the two-story house of our dreams in a beautiful midtown neighborhood in a safe area of our city. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a lovely backyard with a porch. We live in a great school district and are minutes away from a large mall, numerous restaurants, and one of the best aquariums in the country. We also have a large zoo nearby, and we have family passes to both the aquarium and the zoo. Though we don’t currently have any pets, we’re open to having them someday.

Extended Family Extended Family

Our Extended Family

We are blessed to have extremely loving, supportive parents! They love their grandchildren with all their hearts and will adore any additional family members just as much. Linda’s parents and Jackson’s mom all live within 20 minutes of us. They are all eager babysitters! Jackson’s dad and stepmom still live in Arkansas, but we love getting together with them and Jackson’s siblings (three of them, who also live in Arkansas) every Christmas and Thanksgiving. Linda has one brother, who we’re really close with and who also lives here in Oklahoma, and he has a five-year-old son. Linda’s half-sister also recently moved here.

Both sides of our family have all kinds of fun traditions we’ll enjoy passing along to our children! We love to take road trips with both sets of our parents to a town in Missouri that has a theme park, shows, and lots of fun places to eat. It’s our way of meeting in the middle! We also love going to the zoo and the aquarium in town with Linda’s extended family.

Story

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption is something we’ve always considered, and lately we’ve felt increasingly led to pursue it. We’ve always wanted to have a large family, but we firmly decided adopting was for us after countless failed fertility treatments and three heartbreaking miscarriages. We believe all that has only made us stronger in our love for each other and our faith in God, and now that we have two biological sons, we appreciate them all the more for the struggle we went through to have them. They’re the sweetest boys and would be incredible big brothers. We have so much love for each other, for our current and possible future children, and for our friends and family. We have plenty of room in our hearts and our home.
