Just a little bit about our family: We can promise you your child will be raised in a home full of love and stability. We believe in strong family ties and the importance of showing each other love on a daily basis. It’s important for us to not only show our love through our actions but through our words as well. Our family is silly—lots of laughter, jokes, and kitchen dancing! We can promise your child will grow up playing games, telling jokes, and appreciating the funny moments in life.

About Us
We met in college, married the summer after we graduated, and moved to our new state and home within three months! We are a good team. Keith is funny, charismatic, and lovable. Jessica is dedicated, loyal, and compassionate. We bring out the best in each other! Being together for over 20 years, we have built a strong, solid foundation for our marriage. Keith works in the healthcare field in the business development role, where he enjoys working with seniors to ensure they are safe and healthy at home. Jessica is a Montessori teacher who works with elementary children to make her classroom safe and loving. She adores her students and their families. Together we enjoy reading (Keith’s favorite author is Stephen King and Jessica loves Jodi Picoult.), kayaking, playing tennis, and riding our bikes. Keith loves playing golf and watching old movies. Jessica enjoys thrift store shopping and going to the beach.
Our Home
We are so lucky to live in such an amazing city with so much to do! From food festivals to incredible restaurants, we love living in South Carolina. We love going to the beach or kayaking in our free time. We love the diversity that the schools in our county bring. We have worked tirelessly to make our house a home. From adding a screened porch to replacing our floors, we are always up for a home renovation project. Our quiet neighborhood allows us the luxury of evening bike rides and walks around the block.
Our Extended Family
We are from West Virginia and both grew up with one sibling. We also have so many fond memories with our cousins. From picking strawberries to getting into mischief, these cousins played a vital role in our childhoods. We talk regularly on the phone with our siblings. We adore our nieces and nephews. Partly because our niece has special needs, we have formed a special bond with her, and she has spent each summer with us since she was one. Both of us are extremely close and connected with our moms, and we talk to them regularly. One of our moms will be moving here, and we will be adding a mother-in-law suite to our home.
We treasure our annual beach vacation with our family. We love going to the beach, swimming in the pool, playing putt-putt, eating ice cream, and playing board games. We try to see as many of our relatives as we can during Christmas and summer breaks. Each Christmas Eve, we love decorating cookies that showcase our personalities. On Christmas, we visit with our families to eat, exchange gifts, and make new memories. We love hosting Thanksgiving and having everyone gathered around our table to eat our infamous smoked turkey!
What Led Us To Adoption
From a young age, Jessica always knew she wanted to grow her family through adoption. When we met, it was a priority that Keith knew about this, and he was on board. Through many years of praying, we feel God is calling us to fulfill this dream and take this leap of faith. Our aunt was adopted as a baby, and our lives have forever been blessed because of her addition to our family. We know any child God will put in our lives is there for a reason. We are thrilled to be on this adoption journey with you!
