RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

Caucasian

Dear Birthmother,

Dear Expectant Mother,

It is difficult to put into words the gratefulness and blessing we feel to have this opportunity for you to consider us as adoptive parents. We are truly honored and bursting with excitement. But at the same time, we also understand that this can be a conflicted and difficult time for you. Considering an adoption plan must be incredibly difficult. We want you to know we understand this difficulty and hope you can find solace and comfort in the fact that your child will have an amazing life if you choose us.

This is an incredible and selfless decision you are making, ultimately putting your child’s life and well-being before your own. While we are excited for this life-changing opportunity, we know it is hard for you. We want you to know we cherish your life too and want what is ultimately best for you as well.

You would be allowing your child to enter into a loving, compassionate, and welcomed life. In our family, your child will be free to learn, love, and become the amazing individual who will affect so many other lives. We pray for your comfort and that your life is affected for the better as well. Your decision, although difficult, can and will be a blessing for so many. Thank you for considering us.

About

About Us

Hello! Our names are Joshua and Kasondra. We have been married for ten wonderful years. We are proud parents of a seven-year-old son named Cameron. We live in southeast Texas, where we’ve lived now for nine years. We are looking to grow the love of our family with the adoption of another beautiful child. We are blessed and so excited about this opportunity! Joshua is a mechanical engineer. Kasondra is a stay-at-home mom and homemaker extraordinaire. Our hobbies and interests include fishing, traveling, and just spending lots of time with our family and friends.

Home

Our Home

Our home is located in southeast Texas, only 20 minutes away from both sets of grandparents. Our home is situated on a plot of land that is just under an acre. When choosing a home, we wanted to make sure we had a large backyard so we could spend our evening and weekend enjoying time having fun in the sun. While we live in a rural area perfect for raising a family, we are just a short distance from a larger city with unlimited activities. We have two cats, Whodey and Vito, and one dog, Ozzy, who are a critical part of our family. We share a love for pets and grew up with them. We want our children to have the same blessing.

Extended Family Extended Family

Our Extended Family

We are very fortunate to have a large family and group of friends we get to share our lives with. We cherish, help, and receive help from all of them, and we are just there for each other.

On both sides of the family, we have grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins, and we see them regularly at holidays and various gatherings throughout the year. We also have a whole host of family friends with children we see on a regular basis.

Every year we spend the week prior to Thanksgiving at a lake with members of Kasondra’s family. We have a great time fishing, boating, and just being together. At Christmas, both sets of grandparents stay with us on Christmas Eve to open presents and cook a family meal.

Throughout the year, we spend frequent time with our family friends. We often have cookouts, movie nights, and board game nights. On most summer weekends, we spend time having fun in the sun. The kids thoroughly enjoy our inflatable water slide, trampoline, and playground set while the adults cook up something on the grill and socialize. We are a social family and love spending time with our family and friends.

Story

What Led Us To Adoption

Before we had our son, we were interested in the opportunity of adoption. We always thought we would like to build our family with both biological and adopted children. Our son, who is biological, has a rare genetic condition. Through genetic counseling, we were told that if Kasondra got pregnant again, we could not rule out that the baby would have the same condition. Knowing this, adoption seems like the perfect opportunity to grow our family. The adoption process is a blessing for adoptive parents and something we are excited to be a part of.
