RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, Caucasian/Hispanic, Caucasian/Asian, Caucasian/African American, African American, African American/Hispanic

Dear Birthmother,

Hello,

I want to start by thanking you for taking a moment to learn a little more about me as you consider an adoption plan for your child. Sorting through the lives of potential parents for your child must be a very emotional journey. I hope giving you a small glimpse into a life filled with unconditional love will help ease some of your emotional burden.

All I have ever known in life was my desire to be a mother. All the moments leading up to now were dedicated to providing my future child with emotional and financial support, a safe and stable home, and a good education. This precious child can look forward to weekend trips to Sesame Place with aunties and cousins, spending weekends at their Grampy’s campground learning to paddleboard, talking about school and crushes at the dinner table, and creating thousands of memories along the way.

If I am chosen, you and I will share a unique relationship with each other. The extent of that relationship is entirely up to your comfort level and will be respected. Your child will always know of the love you invested in making this decision. Thank you for considering me. May you always be aware of the profound joy that you are bringing forth into the world.

About

About Me

I am a single female living my absolute best life. I have a heart dedicated to friends, family, and adventure. Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with my friends and family, getting out and exploring local attractions, or joining my best friend and her husband on a cruise to see the world. The pandemic put exploration and adventure on hold, but it rekindled my love of arts, crafts, music, volunteering, and reading. I'm also a little bit of a nerd and have greatly increased my Lego collection since 2020 and make no apologies. I am blessed to have a work-from-home career that is strictly 40 hours with no overtime and flexible hours. That career affords me the opportunity to just have fun with my life and spend time with people I love and care about.

Home

My Home

I live in a little pocket of tranquil paradise with my two dogs. Living rural, we have a tight-knit community of neighbors, mostly military, first responders, and school teachers, who are always looking out for each other. Not a day goes by when I don’t see deer and other wildlife walking through my yard. This is a quiet mountain community surrounded by historic venues, two music halls, ski slopes, amusement parks, and a state preserve at the end of the block. I’m never at a loss for something to fill my weekends. It could be going to a local park or a small fair, a walk on a nature trail, or a short two-hour drive to New York, Atlantic City, or Philadelphia.

Extended Family

My Extended Family

I do not have a large family, but our small circle is full of love. I sadly lost my parents fairly young, and I formed a strong bond with my mother’s two brothers. My one uncle has become like a second father to me and is always there to lend an ear and offer advice. He has a common-law wife and two adult stepdaughters who are closer to me than blood. We spend all holidays together and try to visit at least once a month. On a weekend, if they’re not at my house, I am probably out at their camper roasting marshmallows, telling stories, and laughing.

My mother’s second brother started fostering two children at the ages of three and four. The oldest is now 30, and her three children call my uncle Grandpa. We might not be blood, but they are all my cousins. My extended family is also made up of friends I have known for more than 20 years. One of my friends became an orphan very young, and my parents became her parents. She is like a sister to me, more than just my best friend. She is my travel buddy and partner in crime.

Story

What Led Me To Adoption

Adoption has been in my heart for as long as I can recall. My brother was adopted, and my mother’s circle of friends included adopted children. I knew from an early age this was what I wanted. I always thought I would be like my parents and birth one child and then adopt my second. Life does not always go as planned, and sometimes that is a blessing. Back in 2016, I was set for a private adoption; the father stepped up to be a single dad, and my heart broke a little. Afterward, I went through four cycles of donor insemination, but none were successful. I researched adoption agencies, and now my heart is overwhelmed with joy at the prospect of working with Angel Adoption.
