Dear Birthmother,
We would like to thank you so much for considering us to be the proud parents of your baby. We would also like to thank you for considering adoption. We expect this is a difficult and challenging time for you, but we commend your courage and these first steps you have already taken in learning more about your options. Know that you and your child have been in our prayers and on our hearts and minds.
If you choose us, we cannot wait to show your child the love of God and family. We are ready to teach them how amazing their life is and what a wonderful example you are for them. Their life is a beautiful gift given to them by an amazingly selfless person and will be so enriched by your sacrifice. We want your child to know who their birth family is and how many people in their life love them, if that is something you’re comfortable with.
A child in our life would be such an incredible blessing, and we would be honored and would consider it a privilege. We can’t wait and have dreamed of showing a child all the beautiful places of the world, the unlimited possibilities of where they can go and what they can do, the wonder of life, and the beauty of family. We are hopeful and extremely excited to have a child enter our lives and start a new chapter.

About Us
We are Johnny and Erin! We found each other at church, where we became friends. After almost two years, one of us made the other realize we would be great together. After praying about it, we began dating, and it then blossomed into a romance where we found our true soulmate. Erin is an extrovert who loves animals and is a big foodie. Johnny is an introvert who loves collecting comic books and cheering on his LSU Tigers. We complement each other and help each other fulfill our dreams. Both of us have completed higher education with the other cheering us on. Being a minister/insurance producer and a clinical pharmacist, we understand the value of a strong work ethic but also know a good work/life balance is the key to a healthy marriage and family. We also love to travel. We are excited to start a family and share our love and knowledge!
Our Home
We live in a four-bedroom, two-story house with a fenced-in backyard with a pool. Our Texas neighborhood is in a fairly quiet, nice part of town with a neighborhood library and a nearby park and pool where we walk our dogs and where many children are out playing. Our school district has some of the highest scores in the area and includes a college-preparatory high school. Our two Yorkies, Tony and Pepper, love to play with anyone and also love taking naps in a lap or in front of the fireplace. We have a breakfast area and a formal dining room, both of which are perfect places for board games, cards, dominoes, and painting as well as food spreads when we have friends over.
Our Extended Family
We have a loving and encouraging extended family, with around 70 members across Texas and Louisiana. One of our favorite traditions is getting together on Christmas Eve to eat, exchange gifts, and see those who live farther away. There are also certain foods that are always made that the family looks forward to as this is one of the only times we make them. One of the best is ice cream pie, which was usually made by a grandmother and has now been passed on to us to make and bring to the gathering.
All of our family is very excited for us to start a family of our own, especially through the blessing of adoption. They look forward to lavishing gifts on and spoiling our children, which will be a hard task to rein in as there are several family members we know will try to outdo each other. But most importantly, they are ready to pour out love and time as they watch them grow!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have seen adoption work in both our friends’ and family’s lives. One of our cousins was adopted into the family as an infant and became our closest friend growing up. We have three friends who have made their families complete through adoption. One close couple has adopted four children, and they are one of the most complete and happiest families we have ever met. These examples gave us faith when we realized we would not be able to start a family on our own. The joy we see in friends and family brought by the blessing of adoption gives us hope we may be able to share in the same blessing for our own family.
