Borja & Cristina
RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:
Dear Expectant Mother,
We don’t know you yet but we already know you are brave, generous and uniquet. Thank you for being an extremely kind and considerate person by considering the decision to give your child the best possible life. Thank you for considering us to be the parents to your child. We pray for you to find comfort and peace in your decision.
We’ve always dreamed of having a big family that would adventure around the world together and provide a haven of hospitality for all those we call family. Life in our household is always full with summer cabin weeks with friends, visiting family in Spain at least once a year, and taking as many international trips as possible! Our home is known as an open door for family, friends, and neighbors, all of whom are amazing people who will shower your baby with love.
We believe a family is all about love, respect, and being good to one another. Our promise to you is, no matter what, those three values will always be a priority. Your baby will have everything he or she needs to lead a happy and fulfilled life. We want your baby to always know where his or her roots are. Your child will always know how much you love him or her. What you are considering is the greatest form of love—putting your baby first and trying to give him or her the best life possible. You are so courageous!
Cristina & Borja
We are Cristina and Borja, a couple from Spain. Our story began during our
master’s degree international trip, which took place in San Francisco. We met, fell in love, and knew we wanted to spend our lives together. We moved to a Midwest city permanently because Borja found a job as the director of a high-end business. During his free time, he loves morning runs, watching soccer, football, and motorsports. Cristina works as a client consultant manager in the market research industry, and she enjoys doing her best to stay active and healthy with yoga and pilates. She also enjoys cooking at home. In 2018 we adopted our daughter, Daniela, and now that she is about to turn two, she is very much looking forward to a sibling! On the weekends, we enjoy biking and having picnics. We make a great team, continually learning from each other to become better versions of ourselves.
Our townhome is located in a beautiful, quiet, and family-friendly neighborhood. We are surrounded by schools and fun parks. One of the things we love the most is that we live one block away from Lake Michigan. We love walking around and discovering restaurants and new places. Cristina has her dream kitchen and can’t wait to start making baby food again, this time with Daniela’s help! Most importantly, our community has a lot of babies we hope will become friends with the new addition to our family!
Our Extended Family
We were both born in Spain. Cristina is the youngest with four brothers, and Borja is the middle of three brothers, so you can imagine how fun it must have been being surrounded by so many siblings. We would love to create that someday in our home.
We feel very lucky to have a family that supports us and is very excited about our adoption journey. We consider our family the most important part of our lives, and we value the time we share together. Nowadays, with new technologies, we keep in touch with them on a daily basis. And, of course, we get a lot of visits from our family. We also go and see them as well!
Since we moved to the Midwest, we have bonded with a lot of people who have become our “American family.” Most of them already have babies in their lives, so we get to do family things with them, such as visiting the zoo, parks, and festivals. We feel so blessed to have them in our lives.
What Led Us To Adoption
Since our very first moment together, we wanted to become parents. After many months of trying to conceive, we discovered we suffer from infertility. The chances of us conceiving are very low. After two years of trying different infertility treatments, we realized natural birth was not for us. In 2018 we were blessed to adopt our daughter, Daniela; she’s added so much to our lives. We have always believed things in life happen for a reason, so we felt God was telling us adoption was going to be a very important part of our story, and it has definitely been so! We are so excited to start this exciting journey again!
