Dear Birthmother,
Dear Expectant Mother,
As we are writing this, we really just want to pour out love to you. We don’t have a clue about what you are feeling, and we won’t pretend to understand. For us, it’s been a hard but joyful experience, and we can’t help but wonder how it has been for you. We want to give you all the reassurance and support we can.
We are amazed by your strength, selflessness, boldness, and love. Considering this choice must be unimaginable, and we are in prayer for you as well as your baby. This decision is the most selfless act of love for a child we can imagine. Obviously we don’t know you now, but if we should come to know you, then you will realize just how much this means to us. While we know this has assuredly not been easy for you, we are grateful for the opportunity to be involved. We are thankful for you and pray that throughout this process, you do not feel forgotten.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We will continue to pray for you and your baby and that the decisions you make will be blessed.
In love and prayer,
Kevin and Cayci
Our Home
We live in a small, quiet neighborhood in Tennessee. We live in the country but are close enough to the city to be spoiled by having everything so close! Our home is mostly quiet as well, unless the nieces and nephews are here! Our area is full of things to do. We live close to rivers and lakes for water fun, and the mountains are a short, scenic drive away. Within a few hours’ drive, there are hundreds of things to do and places to make great family memories. We love two small dogs, Rex and Maggie. We also love two outdoor dogs, Jasmine and Ollie. All of our dogs love people, big and small alike!
Our Extended Family
Our families are not big. Cayci has two sisters and a nephew who is eight months old. Kev has one sister. Cayci also has another family that she is very close to. Those people will be a big part of our child’s life as well. With that family, she also has two “sisters” and four “nieces and nephews.” They are treated just like family and will do the same for our child.
Every summer the girls and kids from Cayci’s other family go on a trip for three to four days, usually to a waterpark or somewhere fun for the kids. We spend a lot of time together during the rest of the year as well as going on shopping day trips or spending the days together playing games.
We have different traditions with each of our families. Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, and New Year’s are the big ones. Christmas comes with fun traditions! We play games and have fun with the kids. On New Year’s, we play games and eat junk until the ball drops!
We can’t wait to make our own traditions with our little one. Family means so much to both of us.
