Cassie & Andy
RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:
Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, Caucasian/Hispanic, Caucasian/Asian
We want to thank you for considering us to be the parents of your child and considering the selfless decision of adoption. We know firsthand how wonderful the gift of adoption can be, and we are looking forward to having a baby join our family through the adoption process as well!
We can’t wait to travel as a family, make new recipes together, and make new traditions of our own. Should you choose us, we will try to give them every educational and cultural experience we can accomplish. We want to raise our child so that when they need to make decisions, they will have the knowledge and confidence to do so. We will listen to our child when they need to talk, help them when they are hurting, and, most of all, laugh with them always. We will also teach them about where they came from, and they will also know about you.
A child would add so much happiness to our lives. We can’t wait to experience life as a family of three and make new memories together. We will help our child follow their dreams and be confident in whoever they end up being. We will love them unconditionally and remind them how important they are to us. We will embrace who they are and provide all we can for them. We are thankful you are reading our profile, and we wish you luck with whatever you decide!
Cassie & Andy
We are Andy and Cassie! We are college sweethearts and met when we were in marching band together at our university. We started dating soon after and have been together ever since. Cassie is kind, responsible, and compassionate. Andy is hard-working, funny, determined, and family oriented. We both currently work for insurance companies and are fortunate to work at home right now. Our favorite thing to do is travel. We try to vacation fairly often and love exploring new places! We also have a timeshare we plan on using frequently with our future children, which we are very excited about. We love taking our three pups to the dog park and going to Ohio State sports events. Truly, though, we make a special effort to spend quality time together no matter what it is we are doing. We can’t wait to share our love and family with a child someday.
We live in a three-bedroom, two-story house in suburban Ohio with our three dogs, Callie, Brody, and Sadie. We have a good-sized backyard that is fenced in with lots of room to run and play. Our neighborhood is extremely family friendly, and we see families riding bikes and spending time outdoors when the weather is nice. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away, which we love. We also live near lots of parks, sports events, and museums. We are a short drive from amusement parks, lakes, and state parks. There is so much for kids to do where we live, and we are excited to be able to experience our city with a child too!
Our Extended Family
We are fortunate to have families that are so supportive of us through this process. Since Cassie is adopted, her family is thrilled we are also going through the process and can’t wait to give our child the same kind of love and support. All of our family lives within a two-hour radius of our house, so even if somebody doesn’t live in our city, it is easy for us to jump in the car and make a day trip to visit!
Andy’s favorite traditions growing up were going to MLB games with his dad, and they would also see Star Wars movies whenever they came into theaters. He is close to his grandparents; they live a bit of a drive away, and he still enjoys driving up to visit them!
Cassie’s favorite tradition growing up was eating Chinese food while watching A Christmas Story on Christmas Day. When she was growing up, they would also spend lots of time at the library picking out books and then reading outdoors. When she was growing up, her mom’s whole side of the family had lunch on the weekend, and this is a tradition she treasures.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have discussed adoption since we were dating. Cassie is an adoptee herself, so it’s always been something we talked about, and we decided it would be a definite possibility when it came to starting a family together. Cassie and her sister were adopted into a wonderful family and always knew about being adopted. She couldn’t be more thankful for the blessing that is adoption because it has impacted her life in such a positive way. When we decided to start discussing children, considering adoption was not a difficult decision for us. We have seen firsthand how the adoption process works in an amazing way, and we are eager to have a child that will be so special and loved by us and our families.
