RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

Any

Dear Birthmother,

We are seeking to adopt a child because we feel our family is not complete. We love our two boys with all our hearts, but we agree that we need one more kiddo to complete our family. Adoption has always seemed like the right path for us, and we are so grateful for your trust in us. We can't even imagine the feelings and emotions you are experiencing, but we want you to know that we will love, care for, and support this precious human until the day we die.

We come from a very boy-heavy family, and so everyone is excited about the prospect of welcoming a little girl into our home. She will be the first granddaughter for five of her grandparents, and she will be inundated with handmade, knit and crocheted attire. Our two boys are extremely excited for a little sister, and anytime we do anything around the house now, they ask if their sister will like the new decision, or they are reluctant to get rid of an older toy because they "are saving that for Sister."

Raising our children has been the most rewarding and fulfilling period of our lives. We love our children with all our hearts and are very excited to have the chance to love another child just as much.

Home

Our Home

One of the deciding factors in where we live is that there is a small park one block away from our house and the kids' elementary school is only a fifteen-minute walk away. We run into friends from school when we go trick-or-treating on Halloween, local teens cut our lawn for spending money, and the playground is never empty.

We enjoy a safe and affectionate community. Our daycare is within a fifteen-minute walk from our house, and they are aware that we are seeking adoption. They are very excited to assist with our upcoming child's development. Our children have both loved their time at that daycare, along with the added benefit of being walked to preschool once they're old enough.

Extended Family Extended Family

Our Extended Family

Our children have four branches of grandparents, three uncles, three aunts, and six cousins. All but one set of grandparents are local to us. We see them all often, and we have never failed to have a babysitter when needed. Our children love our extended family so much that they are always requesting to arrange visits and activities.

We also have our loving dog who adores the kids more than anyone or anything else in the world. He watches the front door waiting for the kids to get home from school, and then he spends his evenings sitting near them, being a pillow for them, or running around in the yard with them. Whether they're pulling on his beard or laying on top of him, he is always gentle and patient with our children.

We try to experience many things in life and so don't strictly adhere to yearly traditions. For Christmas, we've spent time at a local "Christmas village" where the whole town transforms into a winter wonderland, as well as having large extended family get-togethers with a pile of presents under the tree.
